APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – One of the men accused of running a drug house in Appleton was ordered Friday to stand trial.
Jon Hostettler, 48, enters a plea Thursday, court records show.
His son, Ryan Hostettler, 20, also faces one count of maintaining a drug trafficking place. The younger Hostettler returns to court Sept. 4 for his arraignment.
Police executed a search warrant at 1038 W. Spring Street in early July, as part of what was described as a year-long investigation.
According to the criminal complaint, the overdose death of Cory Jordan in May is related to the address. One of Jordan’s friends told police “when Cory relapses on drugs he stays at Ryan Hostettler’s house,” the complaint states. Ryan Hostettler took Jordan to the hospital the night he died.
However, neither Hostettler – or anyone else – has been charged directly in connection with that incident.
Ryan Hostettler told police people would often stay at the home and do drugs there, according to the complaint.
