GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) In-person absentee balloting starts statewide Tuesday, in advance of the Aug. 11 fall primary.
Check with your municipal clerk for times and locations.
Among the races people will see on their ballots:
- There will be a Democratic primary in the 6th Congressional District, among three candidates vying to replace U.S. Rep. Glenn Grothman. Michael Beardsley, Jessica King, and Matthew Boor. The winner will face Grothman in the Nov. 3 general election
- In the 14th Senate district, Sen. Luther Olsen is not seeking re-election. Ken Van Dyke and Joan Ballweg will meet in a Republican primary, with the winner facing Democrat Joni Anderson.
- In the 30th Senate district, Sen. Dave Hansen is not seeking re-election. Sandra Ewald and Jonathon Hansen will meet in the Democratic primary, with the winner facing Republican Eric Wimberger.
- In the 6th Assembly district, Democrats Richard Sarnwick and Simon Moesch meet in the primary, with the winner facing Rep. Gary Tauchen, a Republican.
- In the 41st Assembly district, Rep. Joan Ballweg is not seeking re-election to this seat. Alex Dallman, Gary Will, Luke Dretske and Chuck Harsh will meet in the Republican primary. Democrat Nate Zimdars and independent Jean Bartz will be on the November ballot.
- In the 54th Assembly district, Republicans Donny Herman and Pete Kohlhoff will meet in the primary. The winner faces Rep. Gordon Hintz, a Democrat.
- In the 55th Assembly district, Rep. Mike Rohrkaste is not running. Republicans Rachael Cabral-Guevara, Jay Schroeder and Lauri Asbury will meet in the primary. The winner faces Democrat Daniel Schierl.
- In the 89th Assembly district, Rep. John Nygren, a Republican, faces a primary challenge from Andi Rich. The winner faces Democrat Karl Jaeger.
- In the 90th Assembly district, Rep. Staush Gruszynski, a Democrat, faces a primary challenge from Kristina Shelton. The winner faces Republican Drew Kirsteatter.
- Florence County District Attorney Douglas Drexler, a Republican, faces a primary challenge from Gregory Seibold.

Wisconsin driver licenses or IDs are the most common forms of identification used for voting. The Wisconsin Department of Transportation Division of Motor Vehicles encourages voters to make sure they have the proper identification needed to vote in the Aug. 11 primary.
