MADISON (WTAQ-WLUK)– After Friday’s record breaking milestone of 17,456 tests results reported, 14,201 results are being reported on Saturday by the state Department of Health Services.
Of the 14,201 reported results, 953 of those came back positive, 65 less than what was being reported by the DHS on Friday.
The 953 positive results from Saturday represent 6.7% of the reported results, which is up from Friday’s 5.8%.
The DHS is reporting 13 new deaths on Saturday, bringing the total to 891 statewide.
Since the pandemic began, 856,398 people have been tested with 808,528 negative test results, and 47,870 positive cases.
The DHS is also reporting that 29,325 patients have since recovered from COVID-19 and 17,636 cases are currently active.
The Wisconsin Hospital Association is reporting that as of Friday, there is a total of 312 COVID-19 patients receiving hospital care in Wisconsin with 60 in intensive care units.
The DHS is reporting that 2,178 hospital beds are immediately available in the state.
There is a supply of 1,755 ventilators with 210 patients receiving ventilation, per the DHS
