CRANDON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A Crandon man was taken into custody after consuming and possessing illegal drugs following a traffic stop.
Jordan Phalen, 25, began consuming a large amount of crack cocanine when his attempt to flee officers failed following the traffic stop Monday afternoon in Crandon.
According to the Forest County Sheriff’s Office, Phalen was taken to the hospital for a possible drug overdose and was later transported to the Forest County Jail where he is being held on a $2,500 cash bond and probation hold.
Phalen faces numerous felonies for possession of illegal drugs, resisting or obstructing an officer and operating a vehicle after revocation and a probation violation.
