OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The Oshkosh West High School student accused of stabbing a police officer pleaded not guilty Monday.
Grant Fuhrman, 17, is charged with one count of attempted first-degree intentional homicide.
No trial date was set. Fuhrman returns to court Oct. 26 for a status conference, court records show.
Prosecutors say Fuhrman was shot after stabbing Oshkosh West High School’s police resource officer Mike Wissink on Dec. 3. Students and staff evacuated, and classes were cancelled for two days.
A judge previously denied Fuhrman’s request to move the trial out of Winnebago County.
