For a second straight morning, a line of severe thunderstorms rumbled through northeast Wisconsin producing heavy downpours and damaging wind gusts.
Winds estimated to have topped 60 miles per hour hour were reported with some of the stronger storms in the area. There were multiple reports of trees down over power lines, and power outages were impacting nearly 5,000 customers, according Wisconsin Public Service, at 5:00 a.m. on Sunday.
The risk for severe weather is now fading, as our Sunday brings in a transition toward some sunshine later today, and noticeably less humid conditions by the afternoon hours and beyond.
