GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-24/7 News Source) — A Green Bay man faces several charges including strangulation and suffocation in an attack on a police officer.
Cops were called to a car crash on North Webster Avenue early last month where they arrested Leo Sanchez-Basulto for suspicion of driving while intoxicated. He was released to a sober adult but took off on foot.
When police caught up with him there was a scuffle.
The officer and Sanchez-Basulto were both injured.
