FREEDOM, WI (WTAQ-WLUK)– A power gliding crash occurred on Saturday, July 4, in the Town of Freedom, according to Outagamie County Sheriff’s.
The glider crash was just after 8 p.m. according to deputies, when the power glider hit a power line and then collided into a farm field.
There was one male and one female on the glider who are both from the Freedom area. The male, who was the one operating the glider, was not injured.
The female was sent to a local hospital for her injuries, which were non-life threatening.
Power to the immediate area was lost and WE Energies responded to restore the power.
