MADISON, WI (WTAQ-Wisconsin Radio Network) — Students at the University of Wisconsin are calling for the removal of the school’s Abraham Lincoln statue.
Some students say the 16th president was anti-black, even though he was also anti-slavery.
Chancellor Becky Blank says the school supports the statue staying on campus. She also says she’ll be announcing new resources and initiatives to address systemic racism soon.
