KAUKAUNA, WI (WTAQ) – The suspect in the death of two Kaukauna children is scheduled to make his first court appearance this afternoon..
After a few months of investigating, Kaukauna Police announced the arrest on Friday.
Matthew Beyer, the father of William and Danielle Beyer has been taken into custody. William was five years old, Danielle was three.
Beyer is facing two counts of first degree intentional homicide. Formal charges have not been filed.
The children were killed in February.

Matthew Beyer, a resident of Manitowoc and biological father of William and Danielle Beyer, was arrested and booked into the Outagamie County Jail for their deaths, which occurred on February 17, 2020. The Kaukauna Police Department has forwarded charges of 2 counts of First Degree Intentional Homicide to the Outagamie County District Attorney’s Office. Any further information regarding the offense will be released through the District Attorney’s Office criminal complaint. We want to thank the community for their cooperation and patience during the investigation of this incident.
