OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A resident of an Oshkosh living facility has passed away after testing positive for COVID-19.
Last week, Eden Meadows confirmed one of its residents was taken to the hospital to be treated for the virus.
In response, 11 Eden Meadows staff have been tested. Eight of the 11 tests are complete and came back negative.
In addition, some patients were tested. Staff is waiting on those results.
“We continue to work with the county health department and are following procedures recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention including asking residents to remain in their rooms and apartments and cover their nose and mouth whenever staff enters,” Eden Meadows wrote in a statement released Tuesday.
