OCONTO, WI (WTAQ) – To help residents in Oconto County prepare for flooding, a public meeting has been scheduled.
Last week, Army Corp of Engineers met with town and city officials affected by flooding on the Bay Shore.
Those communities include Little River, Oconto, Pensaukee, Little Suamico and town of Oconto.
The meeting is set for Wednesday, November 6th at 6 p.m. at Oconto High School to talk about how to plan for an emergency flooding event.
Local, state and federal officials will be on hand to answer questions.
Earlier this week, high winds and heavy rain flooded homes along the shoreline of the bay in Oconto County.
