OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) – Soggy fields a little bit of rain did not stop a record number of people from attending the week-long EAA AirVenture.
Organizers reported that around 625,000 people attended, which sets a new record, and much better than 2018 numbers of 601,000 in attendance.
The best year on record was a culmination to 50th anniversary of EAA.
One of the highlights that brought in a large group of people was the visit from Apollo 11 astronauts on Friday.
