GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – The Diocese of Green Bay has received a tornado and flood damage grant.
On Thursday, Catholic Charities USA awarded the $10,000 grant.
Families who earn less than $60,000 per year and live within the 16 counties of the Diocese of Green Bay are eligible for up to $200.
The money will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
“The damage to homes and property has been extensive and we realize that the need is far beyond the limited dollars available, but we hope every little bit of assistance helps our neighbors who have been impacted by the tornadoes and floodwaters,” says Ted Phernetton, director of Catholic Charities.
