TOWN OF BYRON, WI (WTAQ) – One man is dead and another seriously injured following a head-on crash in Fond du Lac County Thursday morning.
The accident happened around 8 a.m. on State Highway 175 in the town of Byron.
According to deputies, a 53-year-old Fond du Lac man crossed the center line and hit a truck pulling a trailer.
The Fond du Lac man was pronounced dead at the scene, while a 51-year-old Dodge County man was flown to the hospital.
The Fond du Lac man was wearing and seat belt and the Dodge County man was not, according to deputies.
The crash still remains under investigation.
