GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The Green Bay Police Department says a 17-year-old, from Green Bay, stole a car and crashed it into a home on the 1300 block of Fisk St.
Police say, on Saturday around 4:43 p.m., they headed to the 1400 block of Admiral Court. A person living in the area told police they ran inside their apartment to get something and left their car running and unlocked.
When the person came back, their car was gone.
Police say the person also told officers an iPhone was in the car.
Police used the “Find my iPhone” app to find the car. Police found the car and tried to stop the driver but he didn’t stop and sped off.
The department says officers let the car go out of safety concerns.
Eventually, the 17-year-old crashed the car into a home on Fisk St.
Police say no one else was hurt and the teen was arrested.
