Brown County, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – If you’ve turned on the TV within a month’s time and waited long enough, you’ve probably seen some political ads.
“Typically, a Spring General Election, a non-presidential year, we can get anywhere from 30 to 35 percent voter turnout. I’m thinking it’ll probably be anywhere from 33 to 35,” said Sandy Juno.
She’s the Brown County Clerk. and no stranger to elections. Juno’s been doing several years and tells FOX 11 the county is prepared.
“If there are any problems with the equipment, we have a support person here who can go out and troubleshoot. Kind of make sure everything runs smoothly.”
Among the items on the ballot, voters in the city of Green Bay will decide between Pat Buckley and Eric Genrich on who will be the next mayor.
Back at Juno’s office, she’s reminding voters they can register on Election Day.
“Make sure that they bring proof of residency. Typically any kind of utility or government bill.”
She adds, in order to get a ballot, you’ll need a photo ID.
