APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) – The suspicious death of an Appleton woman is now being investigated as a homicide.
The determination based on autopsy results of Lee Ann Dorn.
Appleton Police Officer Meghan Cash says one person was taken into custody in Kentucky on a prohibition hold, and police are working on getting him back to Wisconsin to talk with him.
“There is nobody in custody for her death at this time.”
Cash says Dorn’s vehicle was recovered in Kentucky last Friday after it was reported stolen.
The man in the vehicle also has one more connection to the investigation.
“We do know that he had a close relationship with Lee Ann Dorn, so he is someone that we want to talk to.”
Police are not releasing the man’s name at this time.
It is not known how Dorn’s vehicle ended up in Kentucky.
Officer Cash says the incident is isolated and the public is not in danger.
