APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Breweries in the Fox Valley are making a difference for people impacted by wildfires in Northern California.
The Resilience Butte County Proud IPA is now available in the Fox Valley and Green Bay with all funds going to help benefit the Camp Fire relief efforts.
Sierra Nevada Brewing Company in Chico, California asked breweries across the country to make the beer to help victims of the wildfire.
The Stone Arch Brewpub, McFleshman’s Brewing Company, and Appleton Beer Factory came together to brew the special beer.
Stone Arch Brewpub head brewer Josh Green tells FOX 11 the brew will be available for a limited time.
“We’ll be running it until it’s gone. We produced about 15 barrels worth, which is about 30 half barrels or so. So we kind of split it throughout the three breweries and we all got a little bit. So once it’s gone, it’s gone. But it’s all going towards a good cause.”
Brewers in Green Bay are also making the IPA.
