NEENAH, WI (WTAQ) – The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office wants people to be careful with shooting firearms.
On the Department’s Facebook page Sunday the agency says it’s aware of two .22-caliber firearm bullets that were found in the area of Terra Cotta Drive and Sundial Lane in the last 3 weeks.
The post also says the person who fired the weapon being unsafe with its use.
The Sheriff’s Office also posted safety guidelines, such as assuming that all firearms are loaded, never letting the muzzle get in front of anything one would want to destroy, keeping one’s finger off of the trigger and guard until ready to use, and to know the target and what is past it.
