APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) – A suspect in a drunk driving crash that killed two people earlier this month has been charged.
57-year old David Konetzke was in Outagamie County Court on Tuesday.
He was charged with two counts of homicide by intoxicated use off a motor vehicle.
A judge set a bond at $200,000 dollars.
Two Illinois residents 82-year old David Rosol and 83-year old Hazel Dewitt were killed in the crash, after Konetzke allegedly ran a stop sign, according to police.
Officers also cited Konetzke for the violation.
He is also facing unrelated charges in Winnebago County for OWI-third offense from the beginning of December.
