BROWN COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – A 21-year-old Green Bay woman has been convicted in a fatal drunken driving crash.
Savannah Dumas, who was 20 at the time, has pleaded no contest to being above the legal limit during the April 19 Suamico accident that claimed her passenger’s life.
She pleaded to charges of Homicide by Intoxicated Use of a Motor Vehicle and Causing Injury While Under the Influence.
Counts of Homicide by Use of a Vehicle While Having a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration and Causing Injury While Operating with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration were dismissed as part of the deal.
Dumas faces up to 25 years in prison when she is sentenced January 5.
Three bartenders were later cited for serving Dumas the night of the crash.
