TOWN OF STOCKBRIDGE, WI (WTAQ) – One person is dead and another is injured after a motorcycle crash in Calumet County.
Calumet County Sheriff’s Department reports the crash happened Sunday afternoon on Highway 55 in Stockbridge.
Deputies say a car was stopped on the highway, waiting to turn, when a motorcycle slammed into the back of the car.
A 53 year old Fond du Lac woman, who was a passenger on the motorcycle, died.
The motorcycle driver, a 59 year old Fond du Lac man, was flown to the hospital with serious injuries.
The woman driving the car was not hurt.
