MILWAUKEE, WI (WTAQ) – The Milwaukee Brewers belt out 16 hits against the Miami Marlins in their series finale on the way to a 10-3 win Sunday.
Domingo Santana and Travis Shaw were the biggest contributors for the Brewers with 3 RBI each, all the hard way with no home runs from the Crew.
Jesus Aguilar was also active at the plate, going 3 for 5.
Starting Brewers pitcher Brandon Woodruff put in quality time over seven innings. He was responsible for all three Marilns runs, but struck out five on the way to his second win of the year.
This series was originally set to be played in Florida, but damage from Hurricane Irma moved it to Milwaukee.
Every game is a must-win from this point on if the Brewers want to see post-season play, and it starts tonight with a road series against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
