APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) – Dozens of dogs from parts of Texas that were affected by Hurricane Harvey are coming to Northeast Wisconsin.
The Fox Valley Humane Association says it will bring 58 dogs to its shelter on Monday.
Officials claim the dogs were surrendered by their owners and have been in a Houston shelter for an extended period of time.
Upon arrival, the dogs will be given routine health checks by veterinarian staff before they’re ready to be adopted.
