GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Green Bay Police continues to look for the person responsible for a shooting on the city’s near west side.
Officers were called to 846 South Maple Street around 10:30 pm Thursday.
“In the investigation officers located seven spent shell casings. No personal injuries were incurred from the shooting.”
Captain Kevin Warych shares what else investigators have learned.
“The shooting was possibly from a retaliation from a previous disturbance. We learned that this shooting was not random.”
Warych could not say whether the previous disturbance was Wednesday’s shooting on Pine Street.
“At this point, I can’t speak on whether or not they are related, but I can (say) that there are detectives working on both incidents, trying to locate both people responsible in the separate shootings.”
WTAQ will provide more information on the case as it becomes available.
