DE PERE, WI (WTAQ) – Signs that football season is nearing were visible in De Pere Tuesday.
Packers players arrived at their training camp home, Saint Norbert College’s Victor McCormick Hall.
Rookie Safety Josh Jones is entering his first camp.
“I mean, this is what you’ve been waiting for. You got a month off, been on vacation for four to five weeks. Now it’s back to football.”
Jahri Evans is an 11-year NFL veteran but is entering his first season in Green Bay.
“Camp is where you grow. Camp is where you build your foundation. Obviously at OTA’s you get some of that, but camp is when you get the rust off and get to banging and get the body ready.”
Players report Wednesday, with the first practice scheduled for 8:15 am Thursday.
