OUTAGAMIE COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – The 33-year-old Milwaukee man accused of starting a fight that led to an officer-involved shooting has pleaded not guilty at arraignment.
Henry Nellum faces a felony murder charge in connection with the May 21 incident at Appleton’s Jack’s Apple Pub.
Appleton Police Officer Jay Steinke tried to shoot at Nellum but instead shot and killed bystander Jimmie Sanders.
Nellum is due back in court September 26.
