WAUPUN, WI (WTAQ) – A 24-year-old Waupun man has been convicted for attacking a woman early Thanksgiving morning.
Juan Arriaga followed the woman as she was walking in Waupun, later telling her to be quiet as they neared an officer.
The woman ran toward to the police squad car and said she believed Arriaga was trying to kidnap her.
Arriaga was arrested following a brief pursuit, later admitting to officers he had been drinking and was lonely.
