CLAYTON, WI (WTAQ) – A 55-year-old Larsen man has been taken into custody following a domestic incident.
Winnebago County Sheriff’s officials responded to a residence on Fairview Road in the Town of Clayton around 9:30 pm Friday for reports of gunshots.
Deputies were unable to make contact with the male suspect and verified a female was still inside, unable to exit safely.
The SWAT Team was deployed and got the 57-year-old woman out of the building.
Around 12:15 am Saturday, the man surrendered and was taken into custody.
He was transported to the Winnebago County Jail and booked on a variety of charges.
No injuries have been reported in connection with the incident.
