MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – A fire that burned three buildings at the Peck School of the Arts on the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee campus is believed to have been accidental.
The blaze caused an estimated $1-million in damage.
Crews were called to the scene around 10pm Saturday. No one was inside at the time. Classes at the school are being canceled Monday and Tuesday. School administrators say classes will be moved to other locations starting on Wednesday.
UWM Police Chief Joseph LeMire said yesterday they have no evidence of anything suspicious with the fire.
