GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – A Brown County judge has ruled that a suspect involved in an April murder in Green Bay is competent to stand trial.
Richard Arrington is accused of shooting up a home on Day Street, killing 25-year-old Ricardo Gomez.
A trial date was not scheduled and Arrington returns to court for a final conference January 3. Also Tuesday, the defense withdrew its speedy trial demand.
Arrington is charged with one count of first-degree intentional homicide. Devin Landrum is charged with aiding Arrington. He’s due back in court November 8.
