OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) – Police in Oshkosh say three teens have been arrested in connection with a number of vehicles thefts in September.
The arrests, police say, stem from an investigation into 4 vehicles being stolen between September 1 and September 12. Back on September 13, officers revealed that 9 vehicles had been stolen that month, seven of them with keys inside with the door unlocked.
Since then, police say 4 more vehicles have been taken.
Two 18-year-old Oshkosh men are having charges referred to the district attorney’s office. A 16-year-old Neenah boy is being referred to juvenile authorities.
The Oshkosh Police Department is again reminding drivers not to leave keys inside vehicles and to lock vehicle doors when they are parked.
