OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) – An armed robbery investigation in Oshkosh has prompted a lockdown for a nearby school.
Police say the robbery happened at Hometown Pharmacy, 1823 Jackson Street, around 11:20 a.m. Tuesday.
A man robbed the pharmacy at gunpoint, but police are not saying what he took. He ran away through the pharmacy’s back door.
The suspect is described as a white man, between 40 and 50-years-old, 5’6″ to 5’7″ and weighing about 160 pounds. He was wearing a light gray zip-up sweatshirt.
Due to its proximity to the scene, police asked Oaklawn School to go on lockdown. Oshkosh North High School is also on a “soft lockdown”.
