DE PERE, WI (WTAQ) – A De Pere psychiatric office has been purchased by Bellin Health.
Company officials announced Tuesday that Riverside Psychiatric Group, 1325 Angel’s Path, is now Bellin Health Riverside Psychiatric Group.
Patients will be able to keep their current doctor or therapist, but will also be able to select from a larger pool of Bellin providers who have additional areas of expertise. The office will also offer new services, including psychological testing and more group therapy options.
In addition, Bellin promises the office will be included in more health insurance plans and many services will cost less.
“Patients are our highest priority, and we understand the importance of maintaining the provider-patient relationship,” Sharla Baenen, president of Bellin Psychiatric Center, said in a news release. “We are so pleased to join forces with Riverside’s talented team of experts, and we look forward to offering additional options that will enhance the level of care for our patients.”
The office’s hours and phone number remain the same, and patients have continued access to 24-hour emergency care. Patients’ medical records also remain on site at the De Pere location.
