Ashwaubenon, WI (WTAQ) – Green Bay Metro Fire called out to the Tundra Lodge just after 12 this morning (FRI).
One of the large commercial dryers had overheated and was on fire in the housekeeping laundry room.
Hotel guests were evacuated. Crews entered and put out the fire.
The next problem….clearing the smoke. That took some time due to size of the building.
Guests were allowed to return to their rooms after the smoke was cleared. The hotel was operating at full capacity.
No one was hurt and damage is estimated at $20 thousand.
