APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) – Appleton police are investigating two separate break-ins at a local business which led to two bicycles being stolen.
Authorities say the first burglary took place sometime between 3 p.m. September 5 and 7 a.m. September 6 at Schwag, 2727 N. Meade Street.
The burglar broke a front window and stole money, sunglasses and a Mongoose BOOT’R bike that was black with gold trim.
Then this past Sunday, someone broke a window and stole a black Cannondale Jekyll 4 bike.
Anyone with information is asked to call Sgt. Leitzinger at (920) 832- 5541. Anonymous tips can also be sent by text message to 274637 with the keyword APDTIPS at the beginning of the message.
