SHAWANO COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – Authorities in Shawano County say the body of a missing boater was pulled from Lily Lake on Thursday.
The Shawano County Sheriff’s Department says crews used sonar and video equipment to locate the body of 79-year-old Maynard R. Sohr of Shawano around 10 a.m.
Officials had been searching for Sohr since just after 11 a.m. Wednesday, when the sheriff’s office got a report of an empty fishing boat floating on the lake.
