GREEN BAY, WI (WNFL) – The Green Bay Packers have reportedly agreed to bring back nose tackles Letroy Guion and B.J Raji.
Guion still faces a possible suspension from the NFL, after prosecutors in Florida recently settled his drug and gun charges from February. He paid a $5,000 fine, after prosecutors could not prove that Guion was planning to sell the marijuana he was caught with.
Even without firm convictions, the league can still punish Guion under the league’s personal conduct policy.
Meanwhile, Raji hopes to prove he’s back to full strength, after he missed all of last year’s regular season and playoffs with a torn biceps muscle.
NFL Network was the first to report Raji’s apparent deal. ESPN had the scoop on Guion.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel said both contracts appear to be for one year in the one-to-two million dollar range with incentives that raise both deals to around $3 million.
