ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ) – An Ashwaubenon Public Safety officer has been released from the hospital.
Officer Brian Murphy was hospitalized since being struck by a vehicle on Interstate 41 on July 22.
Upon leaving the hospital Thursday, Murphy was met by dozens of officers, dispatchers, and loved ones.
A procession of public safety vehicles escorted him home.
28-year-old Kalin McGuire faces criminal charges for striking Murphy.
