GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — You can no longer get a test for the COVID-19 Coronavirus in Brown County if you’re asymptomatic and haven’t knowingly been exposed to someone with COVID-19.
Tests are now only being given to those with at least one symptom of the virus.
“If you have symptoms or if you don’t have symptoms but exposed to someone with COVID-19, you can still go to a health care provider and get tested,” said Prevea CEO Dr. Ashok Rai.
Even if you don’t have a healthcare provider or don’t have insurance, you can still get a test.
“If you don’t have insurance and you’re concerned about where you can go, the NEW community clinic here in downtown Green Bay is providing testing,” said County Executive Troy Streckenbach.
Over 10,000 people were tested for the virus during community testing, which ended Friday.
