GREENWOOD, Ind. – For the second-straight year, UW-Stevens Point track and field senior Michelle Petkovsek (Waupaca, Wis./Waupaca) has earned College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District VI honors.She earns the honor for the second-consecutive year and was a Academic All-America third team selection in 2019. This spring, she had a PR in the 800-meter run at the NCAA Final Qualifier. In 2019, Petkovsek was a member of the WIAC Outdoor Championship winning 4×400-meter relay team.Petkovsek graduated from UWSP in May with a degree in dietetics. She was a Chancellor’s Leadership and Albertson Medallion Award recipient. She had a cumulative grade point average of 4.00.To be considered for Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must hold at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at his/her current institution.
