MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ) – A Manitowoc County man accused of killing a friend and his friend’s daughter was officially charged on Monday.
35-year-old Karl Hess is facing two counts of first-degree intentional homicide in the deaths of Richard Miller and his daughter Jocelyn Miller.
At a hearing last week, bond was set at $1 million.
Police say they learned the shootings stemmed from the intentions to steal money from Miller.
Hess is accused of shooting both individuals in their home on September 7 and is facing two life sentences if convicted.
