GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Neng Vue, 77, was charged Friday with second-degree recklessly endangering safety and several other counts for two stabbings on the city’s east side.
Police were called to the 2100 block of Basten Street, near Danz Park, just before 5:30 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a person armed with a knife.
Upon arrival, law enforcement found an 18-year-old man and a 56-year-old man, both Green Bay residents, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the stabbings. The victims said the suspect “had fled into a nearby wooded area in possession of multiple weapons.”
The Green Bay Police Department deployed its SWAT team, K9 unit and crisis negotiation team to the scene, with assistance from the Green Bay Metro Fire Department, Brown County Sheriff’s Office and Appleton Police Department.
