GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The Green Bay Area Public School District has officially inducted the inaugural class into its new Hall of Fame.
A ceremony with the eight inductees was held Saturday evening at Backstage at the Meyer in downtown Green Bay.
The Hall of Fame was created to celebrate the accomplishments of notable alumni both in the community and around the globe, according to Superintendent Vicki Bayer.
More than 50 people were nominated for the class in the Spring and the eight inductees were revealed on September 9.
The inaugural class includes:
