BYRON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Three people from Green Bay were arrested after leading Fond du Lac County authorities on a pursuit.
Around 7:14 p.m. Tuesday, a deputy with the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office saw a vehicle matching the description of a suspect vehicle that Wisconsin State Patrol just recently had a pursuit with on Interstate 41 that they had terminated due to entering a construction zone northbound on I-41 just south of Johnson Street.
The deputy activated his emergency lights and siren near S. Main Street and Johnson Street in Fond du Lac.
The suspect vehicle continued south on S. Main Street and accelerated to speeds between 45 MPH and 60 MPH. Speeds reached 80 MPH and a deputy was in position on S. Main Street at US Highway 151 with a tire deflation device.
The suspect vehicle struck the tire deflation device and continued south on S. Main Street at speeds of 80 MPH. Due to striking the tire deflation device, this caused 3 of tires on the vehicle to go flat and the suspect vehicle pulled over at Lost Arrow Road, in the town of Byron.
