WASHINGTON (WTAQ-WLUK) — Wisconsin lawmakers on both sides of the aisle are speaking out about the shooting of Charlie Kirk.
The CEO and co-founder of Turning Point USA, a conservative youth activist organization, was shot in front of a crowd on Wednesday while speaking at an event at Utah Valley University. He died from his injuries later in the day.
The Associated Press reports that a gunman fired a single shot at Kirk. Video circulating online shows Kirk bleeding heavily from an apparent gunshot wound near his neck.
