OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Rodney Franklin pleaded not guilty Wednesday for the November murder of Keith Rieskamp in Neenah.
Franklin, 53, is charged with first-degree intentional homicide and theft from a corpse. After a preliminary hearing, Franklin was bound over for trial and immediately entered the not guilty pleas Wednesday.
Trial is scheduled for May 18. A five-day trial is planned.
Rieskamp was found dead behind a residence in the 200 block of E. Doty Avenue on Nov. 24.
Officials say they charged Franklin after evidence was examined by the Wisconsin State Crime Laboratory.
