(WTAQ-WLUK) — Labor Day weekend in Wisconsin was chock full of big Powerball winners.
Lottery frenzy is on the rise nationwide as the Powerball jackpot continues to grow at a record-breaking pace. It’s now sitting at an estimated $1.3 billion — the fifth largest prize in the game’s history.
Saturday’s drawing produced a $50,000 ticket at the Kwik Trip located at 935 Lombardi Avenue in Green Bay. Another $50,000 ticket was sold in Baraboo and a $150,000 ticket came out of Milwaukee, thanks to the 3X Power Play multiplier.
The winning tickets from Saturday’s drawing matched four of five numbers (3-18-22-27-33) and the Powerball (17).
As for Monday’s drawing, there were six winning $50,000 tickets sold across the state, including one in Peshtigo. That ticket was purchased at the Eagle Express Travel Center, located at N2536 Kasal Lane. The others were in New Berlin, Superior, Prescott, Fitchburg and Wausau.
Another $150,000 ticket was bought in Paddock Lake as a result of the 3X Power Play multiplier.
The winning tickets from Monday’s drawing matched four of five numbers (8-23-25-40-53) and the Powerball (5).
Prior to this weekend, there have been 18 Wisconsin Powerball tickets that matched four of five numbers and the Powerball to win $50,000 or more in 2025.

- Jan 18, 2025 – $328.5 million – Oregon
