Samantha J. Wishman (Marinette Co. Jail)
MARINETTE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A Marinette woman is going to prison for causing the death of her boyfriend’s 3-year-old son.
Samantha Wishman, 34, was sentenced Friday afternoon to 11 years in prison and 10 years of extended supervision.
According to the criminal complaint, first responders were called to a home for a child who was unresponsive and not breathing.
Wishman told police the boy had fallen down the stairs the night before.
The boy was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
